Mimi and PawPaw's Visit

It seems just like yesterday I posted about our family visiting Mimi and PawPaw in TX, but we were in for a double-dose-blessing of grandparents in the month of April! Woohoo!  It is always a little sad when we leave Texas and we have to tell the girls that its going to be "a while" before we see our family again, so it was especially awesome to relay the news that Mimi and PawPaw were coming to Maryland in only a couple of weeks!

In preparation for their coming, I requested if Michelle would help me make a chocolate cake for the ocassion! It turned out AMAZING!!!!
 

Anna enjoyed some cuddling time with her PawPaw.

Mimi spent some time with the girls coloring.  Then our entire family went to an International Night at a local school. My friend invited us to attend because she made SCONES!!! We enjoyed all the food, entertainment, and I even won a $20 gift card to Chipotle! Fun Times.

The next evening, we went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner.  Anna tried the lemon, much to her distaste! :-)

Then we came home and all the girls enjoyed reading a princess book with their Mimi and PawPaw. 

But our biggest treat of all was our visit to the Baltimore National Aquarium!!

We saw animals up close....

 then dressed up as animals ourselves....

and danced around in circles! 

The girls were enamored by the spitting bugs. 

Anna enjoyed playing with the puppet.

Much to Anna's delight, she discovered her daddy was "the man behind" the puppet stage!

All three of the girls enjoyed digging in the sand! 

The girls played hide-and-seek with PawPaw in the play-area. 

And then the greatest highlight of all was seeing the beloved dolphins!

It was the perfect trip to the aquarium with Mimi and PawPaw. :-)
