A Little Science

Our family became members of the Maryland Science Center at Baltimore's Inner Harbor in the month of November!

Jillian and Faith had fun walking in the footsteps of the dinosaurs.

Anna was absolutely amazed by how BIG the dinosaurs were

After we got into the van, Anna told us, "T-Rex... BIG! He has big teeth."!

Then the girls did some measuring of fossil bones

with a little bit of Daddy's help!

Then the girls went on an archeology dig with their googles on.

Jillian played the harp with invisible, laser strings.

We also had fun using our muscles to lift ourselves (or another little person) up with the pulley.

The whole family became involved and each of the girls had a chance to go up in the air!

When it was Jillian's turn, she decided she could lift herself up with her own strength!

Then we did a couple more experiments

and enjoyed the wonder that comes along with learning about science!

Anna got caught up in a cloud....

At first, Anna was a little worried about "the fog"!  Do you see her little hands on her face?

But then she quickly caught on that it was a lot of fun! :-)

Then we went to the space section and learned about gravity and compared how much things would weigh here on earth to other places in the solar system.

Then we saw hard it would be to do work in space as a astronaut by wearing gloves and trying to build with blocks.

Two of my cuties dressed for NASA work!

We had so much fun that Faith was completely zonked out by the time we were in the car for a few minutes.

After the science museum, we went to a new friends' house for dinner! All the kids were adorable as they enjoyed their apple crisp with ice-cream! It was a great day!
