During our first morning at Magic Kingdom, we stopped for a break and traveled, by Monorail, to the Contemporary Resort. There, we were treated to the best breakfast buffet we have ever had: Chef Mickey's! It was super time of fabulous food, endearing characters and laughter all around.
While we waited for our table to be ready, we took a photo with an adorable Mickey statue, complete with Chef's hat and fruit salad. As you can see, Anna was quite prepared to meet someone special.

For appetizers (yes, our breakfast had an appetizer), we started off with fruit, cold cuts and a croissant roll. This was quickly followed by yummy hash browns, sausage, bacon, omlets, quiches, bagels, muffins, cinnamon rolls and the Disneyworld famous Mickey waffles. We had a choice of toppings: jellies, whipped-cream, syrup, chocolate sauce and caramel sauce - the girl's chose all of the above.

Then the next sage of our special treat began - the fabulous five Disney characters stopped by for a hug, photo-shoot and signatures.
We told Donald we had just seen Daisy the day before, he made a heart with his hands and touched his heart. He was very fun.
Next up was Mickey. Brad got a photo with him, and Mickey even said he remembered seeing Brad the last time he was at Disney as a kid, about 'yea high'.

At last, Minnie Mouse came to see ... Minnie Mouse. Anna was so excited, and loved every minute of it. She had to make sure her plush Minnie doll was in the picture too.
Anna got a special hug.

Then the music started, and everyone started dancing ... but what is this - they heard we were celebrating our 8th year anniversary, and brought us special cupcakes (as if we needed more sweets, but oh well!). Yummy!!

As we ate our cupcakes, the dancing began. Faith and Brad hit the floor and partied like it was 2013!

Chef Mickey's was super great. Yummy food, great characters, awesome service!

Oh my word that looks like so much fun! Love Anna's outfit!!!
