We went apple picking with some old friends at Butler's.
Then afterwards, we took photos of the kids in the old-fashioned truck with gorgeous Sunflowers in the background.
Anna wasn't feeling the best, so I only made her "smile" (not really a smile at all) for a couple of the photos!
Then I captured a photo of my two big girls by themselves. :-)
Finn was smitten with Faith. Faith wasn't quite sure what to do, but Finn's mama came to the rescue. :-)
The next week, we went to Butler's with friends from Adventure Club. Jillian was one of the only 1st graders in our homeschooling group last year, but it was a great opportunity for her to become friends with some of the older girls in the group! Fiona was in 4th grade last year and Jillian and Fiona hit it off and became great friends.
Faith is wearing the same dress on both trips; it was one of her favorites this summer!
But what I found soooo fun about going to Butler's with two different families in two consecutive weeks was experiencing our friends' favorite things to do!
Both of our experiences were entirely different. Amanda and Fiona introduced us to the slides! Anna and I had so much fun going down the slide time after time on our sack. We also enjoyed a picnic, the playground, the animals, and the old-fashioned games.
Both days were absolutely beautiful and it made me anticipate our move (right down the street from Butler's) even more!
