We made it through the morning without any more brown or black outs. The snow has come at a steady pace; at times it is fluffy and right now more sleet like. Some times it falls vertically, and other times horizontally. In all, I think we have at least 2 feet.
Our neighbor's white picket fence is nearly covered, and is sufficient to keep their medium sized dog contained. Our street is plowed every 2 hours or so, but only one strip. And the plowed bit is piled on our side of the street :-(
Lauren has made it a fun day for us inside. We made Valentine's Day cards for each other, cookies, and gave the girls a new game for their "V-tech" system. Now they are playing in the basement while I stuff my face with cookies ... yum!
They are saying people should not expect to be going back to work until Tuesday. We'll see how that develops. Sounds like we won't be going to any Super Bowl parties.
