Winter Celebrations

"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

In the month of November, we celebrated with the Glenn family the 2nd birthday of Oliver.  Naomi's mom is a gifted photographer (just like her daughter) and took this adorable photo of Faith at the birthday party.

She also took this funny one of Anna! I think this photo captures little Anna's little personality so well.

It was a fun day celebrating this adorable, little guy! Happy Birthday sweet Oliver!

Then in December, our family, being the Chick-Fil-A lovers that we are, went to a Santa Cow breakfast event.  It's not every day you have breakfast with Santa cow, so we wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. :-) We enjoyed some chicken biscuits and a chocolate shake for BREAKFAST!!!

Little Anna doing some shopping at our favorite clothing store, Gymboree.

Then we headed to the Glenn's to celebrate Madeline's 4th Birthday.  Here is a photo of little Anna being blindfolded to play "Pin the Wings on the Fairy"!

One of my favorite things about the Christmas season is the girls dressing up in beautiful, festive Christmas dresses on Sundays! My girls love it too and Jillian wanted her photo to be taken in front of the Christmas tree before church!

Faith and Jillian, my little girls are growing up so quickly!!!

One year old Anna all dressed up for church in her Christmas dress!

One of the cold wintry days we were spending inside, I decided it would be fun if I shared "tea" (hot chocolate in my pretty tea cups) with Faith and Anna.

Anna was super excited about sharing tea with her sister and mommy!

We had apples, pretzel with melted kisses and M&M's in the middle, and a variety of fudge made by our friend Michelle (the secret ingredient of the chocolate fudge is 1/2 lb of Velveeta cheese)!

Anna enjoyed the yummy chocolate pretzel.

While Faith enjoyed daintily sipping on her hot chocolate.

Another evening, we had a family night of coloring princess ornaments, eating pizza....

decorating sugar cookies, and watching a Christmas movie! Fun, relaxed "family date nights" are some of our absolute favorite evenings!

Jet (Jillian's school bus buddy and classmate), Brad, Jillian and Faith "playing pool" at Jet's family's "Snowflake Party" at a clubhouse in downtown Rockville.

There were three or four iPads floating around and all the kids were playing (or watching) games while the adults visited and enjoyed the delicious catered dinner by Gordon Biersch.

Anna was a little superstar, doted on by many of the adults in the room.  Jet's aunt took several photos of smiley Anna.

Then Anna would run over to have a look at herself in the view-finder!  She cracks me up how much she is fascinated by cameras, phones, & music players!! :-)

It was a fun month of celebrations with our family and friends.
