One of our dear family friends from church is home schooling their kids this year. We are so excited and are anticipating a lot of fun field trips together. :-)

Both of our families bought season passes to the science center with the specific purpose of being able to make regular "field trips"!!! Hooray! We got a head start to the school year this summer with a trip to Baltimore.
On Friday nights in the summer, the science center shows "FREE" Imax movie for members. So, Lindsey and I took the kids, ate a Chipotle dinner (along with our dragonfly friend), and saw a Beavers Imax movie.

Unfortunately, little Anna wasn't feeling the best for our first field trip, so Brad stayed home with her and they had a special "date" (it didn't last long, she went to bed at 6PM).
It was a shorter trip to the science center than we anticipated, because on our drive to Baltimore, we hit a lot of traffic. :-( Thankfully, we were all together in Lindsey's van. So Lindsey and I were able to pass the time talking, while the kids watched Mulan on the van's movie player!
Annie and Faith worked really hard together to make a super, big Great Wall of China (which was inspired by the movie, Mulan)!
And Jillian made a castle fort. :-) It was a wonderful way to spend a summer evening.
