Now that Brad is no longer a graduate student, we are getting to do "company functions" for the first time! Last month, we enjoyed a perfect autumn day with Brad's colleagues at a picnic.
The same weekend, our friends, the Beckman's came over for some grilled fajitas and game playing time. Little kids gravitate to Sadie and Brad. They are super fun-loving people and we are thankful to have them in our lives.
Anna and her daddy ready for a fun company picnic. We had a delicious buffet of BBQ chicken, ribs, coleslaw, potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, & green salad too! For entertainment, there was a bounce house that our whole family enjoyed, a small putt-putt course and a little playground for the kids.

Here Brad is teaching Jillian how to hold her putter correctly. She patiently listened to her Daddy's instructions but in the end decided she preferred her own "unusual" way of holding it.

Faith was telling all of us a very interesting story. She was also was very sweetly setting up all the blue trains for our game of Ticket to Ride Europe.
We had several couple teams in this game of Ticket to Ride. Faith was on my side, Jillian helped her daddy, and Bennett helped his mommy. But the victors were Faith and me. Hooray! I think little Faith brought me some great luck, because I had my best game ever. Thanks Faith! :-)
