The Big Apple VBS

Sunday evening, the same weekend as our camping trip, was the Kick-off night for Redland Baptist VBS!  We met our friends the Pierson's there and had a blast playing games in the gym, eating a hot dog/chips dinner, and then going out for some 16 Handles Frozen Yogurt at the Washingtonian Rio.

The theme for VBS was the Big Apple Adventure.

This time I think she made it! Yahoo!

The dads and their girls proud of themselves after a fun game of basketball! :-)

Then we all went outside for a picnic of hotdogs, chips, and watermelon!

After our picnic, we went back inside for some bouncing and taxi-driving.

16 Handles Frozen Yogurt is yummy!  Then we walked around the boardwalk a little bit! It was the start to a great week.

VBS was Monday through Friday.  On our last day, the kids had a performance for the parents.
